Weered's group finder is built around what MTG players actually need: pod-finding for EDH, format pickup for Modern/Pioneer/Standard/Legacy, cube-draft pod assembly, and shared brewing sessions. Posts include format, power level (precon, casual, mid-power, high-power, cEDH), play medium (paper, Spelltable, MTGO, Cockatrice), seat count, mic requirement, and starting time. Three other humans for a Commander game has been the central LFG problem in MTG for a decade. Reddit r/EDH posts work but scatter. Spelltable has matchmaking but it is shallow. The deeper bet: MTG has multiple personalities (cEDH grinders, casual pod, cube drafters, paper league players, Arena ranked) and no single platform covers all of them. Weered is room-first, so a cEDH pod and a casual Wednesday pod can both live here without competing for attention.
