Sparrow Racing League is back as part of the Monument of Triumph update on June 9 2026. Bungie confirmed it in the May 21 announcement, packaged alongside the new Pantheon and the refreshed Director. For players who logged off years ago, SRL is one of the strongest pulls in the bundle. The mode has been dormant for most of the live-service era and the return is permanent. What this likely looks like: - Race tracks revived from earlier years, almost certainly with new tracks layered in - Time-trial leaderboards by track and by sparrow class - Cosmetic rewards tied to participation and placement - Quest line gating new sparrows or ornaments Bungie has not yet published the full track list or the leaderboard structure. We will update this post once they do. Weered will host verified SRL tournaments through the bracket system. Race results are available via the Bungie PGCR API, which means we can confirm finishing times without screenshots and without honor system reporting. Format will likely be bracket elimination by best time, with the option for round robin if there is enough demand for league play.
