16th Infantry Regiment, this is your ground. Not another channel. A place with rooms that hold their shape between drills, a front page that belongs to the Regiment rather than to a platform, and an Operations desk built for Vietnam specifically. ## Operations — built for Vietnam Vietnam has no public server list. Team17 runs the browser inside the game and publishes nothing outside it, so the usual trackers show nothing for Vietnam and never will. That is fine, because the Regiment does not need a list of everyone's servers. It needs its own. Every Vietnam server has an RCON port. An officer links the Regiment's server once, from the Front Line tab, and Operations becomes: - **Front Line** — the server, live: map and mode, US against NVA by the numbers, score, match clock, queue, next map in rotation. And after a couple of weeks of watching, what the box *normally* does at this hour on this weekday, so a drill night is planned against a pattern rather than a guess. - **Roster** — who is on the server right now, by team and squad, with role, level, kills and score. Whether the platoon actually formed up, who took the mortar, who is in Command. Refreshes every twenty seconds. - **Fire Direction** — the Vietnam mortar table as a tool. Range in, elevation out, in degrees, with walking-fire corrections and a reverse lookup for reading a dial back. Same table for US and NVA. - **Field Manual** — the six maps with their year and what the fight is, the four modes, all seventeen roles, and the vehicle park for both sides. The RCON details stay on our server and are only ever used to read. Nothing is written to your box. ## Rooms that survive the week Five rooms, each with a job: - **Command Post** — orders, after-action, anything the whole platoon needs to see - **Vietnam Section** — Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. Single-life realism and competitive play - **Reforger Section** — Arma Reforger. PVE scenarios worked through as a team - **Drill Hall** — weekly squad drills and the full platoon meet - **Enlistment** — where a recruit lands. Open to anyone holding the link, with no account required to look around Voice and video are in every room. Nothing to install, nothing to download, and a recruit can see the place before committing to anything. A room can put the Operations desk on its own stage, so the drill runs in voice with the live server beside it. ## Drills on a calendar, not in a pinned message Drill night, the platoon meet and section ops go on the Drills calendar. They stay there. Nobody has to scroll a channel to find out whether Thursday is on. ## Dispatches that do not scroll away Orders, after-action reports and the Regiment's own news live here as threaded posts — replies nest under the point they answer, images attach by drag or paste, and a link keeps working next month. ## Straight, because a realism unit checks - Arma Reforger has no live board here yet. Same reason as Vietnam's browser: no public source we can read honestly. If one appears, this lobby gets it without you doing anything. - The server rhythm needs about three weeks of readings before “normally” means anything, and the card says so until then.
